Any Roxanne fans might have wondered what happened to
her after Max went to college? Well, even secondary characters
have to grow up a little.
Weird thing is, no matter how I shot this, her pants kept
taking on a fluorescent glow. Strange.
At this point I started to get a better sense of flow in the
character. So that it would look good from all points of
view. Hope you all like. Sharp.

Pretty amazing. The details in the legs and knees is outstanding. The clothes look like they've be placed on after.. and not moulded.
Hi, thank you! Actually I tend to sculpt the character as a nude [in rough form], then lay the clothing over. Getting the pose perfect is often easier in a rough nude form, then the clothing just works with
the foundation you've laid. Really gotta get some sleep now. Thanx again. Sharp.
wow XD thats soo awosme! (i always wondered what happened) Mmmm cheese XD

Hi There!
You have just earned yourself an O.D.D.(^oibyrd's daily devs) feature :winner:! congrats!!! !
O.D.D.S are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure and also, to introduce the more popular artists to the new/overlooked deviants. I prefer to showcase ALL artwork that I love (and that includes popular artists with a fair amount of traffic to their work) in order to create a non-biased feature of the talent on dA. *PLZ DO KEEP IN MIND - some of the features are quite popular and obviously don't need extra help - however - I enjoy posting them because they inspire other artists. Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists . If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! Sandi xoxo

She looks great, and very grown up! I love her hair, it's amazing how good you are with details. I love your cartoon figurines. :)

If I start to make sense, then you're probably reading it wrong.
Keep in mind I'm terribly slow and take my time getting it right. However the pose and attitude are the important. Detail is just detail. A lot of the time you have to know when to back off. Which is why I kept the hair simple. Thank you! Sharp.

That makes sense to me. :) I've been thinking about doing a character model for my own character so that I can try animating her, it's nice to get tips from someone who knows what they are doing! I still think it's amazing that you can make the characters so similar to their animated counter parts, it's a very tough thing to do!

Kent Melton [who did the disney classics before they semi-folded] proved that any style/look can be sculpted. It just takes time and reference. Sharp.
